Open the iTunes Store App

Find and tap the iTunes Store app on your iPhone.

If you're having trouble finding the ITunes app click Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Ringtone > Tone Store.

Search for
Outdoor Comic Guy Dale

Tap the Search tab at the bottom and enter "Outdoor Comic Guy Dale" in the search bar.

Select a Tone(s)
You're going to want at least a dozen of these!

Browse the search results, tap on an Outdoor Comic Guy Dale tone you like.

Purchase the Tone(s)

Tap the price button next to the tone, then confirm the purchase however you are prompted. Your newly purchased tone is now saved on your phone.

Assigning Tone

At the point of purchase, the Itunes Store may ask you if you want to assign this tone to a contact (a very easy process). Once you choose to do so, it will prompt you to choose the contact to which you are assigning the tone. As you do that, you are of course assigning the tone to the chosen contact, but also realize that the tone will automatically be saved in the overall tone downloads, which means you can assign that same tone to any other of your contacts. So you can use the same tone more than once - for any (or all) of your contacts if you’d like!

That same Itunes Store functionality allows you to set the tone as a default, or to just have it in your tone library for you to assign to your contacts as you’d like.

If you purchase the tone without assigning it to a contact or setting it as the default, the tone will go in your tone library for you to assign as you see fit. For those situations….

Set Your Tone to Your Phone Contact

Before you assign the tone, make sure the person is saved as a Contact in your phone.

Go to Contacts > Select the person > Click Edit in the upper right part of the screen > Scroll down to Text Tone (and/or Ringtone) and click the arrow next to it > Select the tone you just purchased.

For universal use: you can also set your new tone as your default text tone and/or ringtone (for everyone) through the settings function. Go to settings, and choose text tone / ringtone (or both). Simply select the new tone and it will be assigned to all incoming calls and/or texts as specificed.

You're Tone is Set!

From now on, when they text you, you will hear the sound of the tone you just selected.
